Triumphant (Get ‘Em) is the first single to be lifted from her upcoming fourteenth album.
Speaking about her new collection, Mariah said: "I'm collaborating with a lot of my favourite people but the main thing is I'm not trying to follow any particular trend.
“I want it to be well received. I want to stay true to myself and the music that I love and make the fans happy.”
Aside from raising her twins Moroccan and Monroe with hubby Nick Cannon, Mariah has been inundated with work of late.
It was announced last month that she’s signed a deal to join the judging panel on American Idol, reportedly netting her around £11million.
However, it’s been claimed that the touchy chart-topper has thrown a strop after learning show bosses also want to add Nicki Minaj to the line-up.
Mariah is allegedly adamant that she be the only woman on the panel, and has called on producers to approach her pal Lenny Kravitz instead.

Rocker Lenny replied: “We’ve know each other since we were teenagers. How fun would that be?!”
The singer is also starring in political movie The Butler alongside Forest Whitaker, Robin Williams, Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda.
