Mariah Carey’s second Christmas album, “Merry Christmas II You,” could move around 50,000 to 60,000, placing it in the top five on the chart. While those figures seem a bit smallish for Carey (her last album, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” bowed with 168,000 at No. 3), keep in mind that Holiday efforts tend to start slower than regular studio sets, and then build larger sales weeks in the march towards the Christmas holiday. If “Merry” performs to expectations this week, it would mark the diva’s 16th top 10 set. Among women, only Barbra Streisand (with 30) and Madonna (19) have had more.
