MARIAH CAREY nearly surrendered her diva crown after falling like a plonker flat on her backside.But the singer grabbed it back with full force by calling on assistants to help her back on her feet.
Everything went a little pear-shaped as the curvaceous warbler toppled over à la NAOMI CAMPBELL during a gig in Singapore.
Mariah’s spectacular tumble happened as she belted out Make It Happen at the Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix.
Credit where it’s due, though. Instead of stomping off to her dressing room, Mariah simply joked: “I did that on purpose.”
She then called out to her assistants so they could help her remove her shoes.
Despite the embarrassing moment, the pop star continued her performance and sang Dreamlover barefoot.
Mariah also sparked pregnancy rumours by covering her tummy in a variety of figure-warping outfits.
